London Animal Care Centre is a private corporation under contract to the City of London to provide animal control, dog licensing, cat identification and bylaw enforcement and shelter services.
Animal Services Officers are special officers empowered to enforce municipal animal bylaws. They can issue Administrative Monetary Penalties (fines) or a summons to appear in court. In our City they have the authority to enforce City of London Animal by-laws P.H.3, 4, 5, 7 and 12.
The London Animal Care Centre also provides lost and found services, shelter services, educational presentations and an adoption centre.
